The latest Kongsberg technological platform is called K-Sim Connect, a cloud-based application allowing students to train 24/7 anytime-anywhere. Kongsberg offers a solution allowing students to run K-Sim Engine KONGSBERG simulators anytime-anywhere using their own laptops.
A new user-friendly web portal, K-Sim Connect, is used for instructors and students to plan assign and perform simulation exercises.

 To meet the present and future training needs in the maritime and naval industry, we have developed K-Sim Engine, a sophisticated engine room simulator. K-Sim Engine includes a range of engine models, G S B ERG all of which are certified by DNV GL and exceeds the existing International requirements.

The simulator provides students with highly realistic training using vessels, objects, and equipment that behave and interact in real life thanks to an advance physical engine and state-of-the-art hydrodynamic and all possible weather conditions, to life.

 With our award-winning instructor system, instructors can use drag-and-drop functionality to create exercises easier than ever before. The intuitive tool uses a modified ECDIS chart as a starting point, and includes automatic recording and an advanced assessment system. This ensures optional training and feedback standards.
